Transition- Wednesdays 8:55-11:10

On Wednesday mornings, Room 2 hosts transitions classes. This is when 4 year olds who are turning 5 soon are able to come to school and do some fun activities with the current Room 2 children. We do an activity related to our letter of the week. In this photo the children created indian head pieces for the letter 'I'.

Developmental Maths term 1

Room 2 have been looking at different lengths. Things that are short, tall, long, narrow, and wide. we talked about being near and far, beside, inside, and outside.
We looked at our hand sizes and found that most of the children have the same hand and foot size. However, Sootie has the biggest feet and hands in our class. We also built houses and buildings using blocks and we navigated around our 'town' using cars. Check out some of our photos!
